Relief Streams verification and VOC scrubbers sizing and regulatory compliance check

Laser scan and as built relief system isometrics produced to allow relief stream sizing/verification calculations.  Reactors and other vessels relief devices were routed to common headers then to dump tanks and onward to VOC Scrubbers.

Work included:

· Laser survey of whole plant

· Production of A1 size relief system isometrics

· Relief stream verification calculations

· Scrubber sizing calcs and check against latest regulatory compliance requirements

· Reports

Production of “as built” P&ID’s (Piping and Instrument Diagram's) for a food bulk storage client

This exercise was completed on 4 of our client sites, the work involved:

· Site survey of existing systems (line walking)

· Client site liaison on unknowns or hidden pipework

· The production of ACAD “as built “ P&ID’s to reflect the current position

· Production of line and valve schedules.

ATEX DSEAR and Area Classification update for a top tier COMAH site in North-West England.

Our client is a global leader in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions. 

Work included:

· Review of existing COMAH related documents for compliance with current regulatory standards

· Update COMAH documentation

· Review Area classification zoning on site and against documentation

· Produce ATEX/DSEAR and area classification reports

· Update area classification drawings

HAZOP - Provision of chair and scribe services to a number of client sites, provision of Technical Safety and process expertise and management of the meetings and process 

3D Laser scan and 3D over model of existing obstacles for a bund wall refurbishment project. The project involved scan and model of several areas of the terminal where bund wall replacement or repair was required. The model was developed to allow detailed discussion around the requirements for implementation and obstacles impacting on the project

Completion of a laser scan of a number of tank bunds to allow capacity assessment against regulatory requirements.

Work involved:

• 3D Laser scan

• 3D over model of bund walls, floor falls and sumps

• 3D over model of all items within bund (to remove from volume calcs)

• Volume calculations

• Report

“Cut and Carve” Modifications to existing plant for a global trading marketing and Bulk liquids storage company.

Detail design of additional storage by utilisation/conversion of existing storage and the addition of a new Demin water plant and storage facility. The project included modifications to existing pipe work and plant, the design of new piling and foundations, a new tanker loading and sampling facility along with the structural and civils design for the new demineralised water plant.

Local Exhaust Ventilation study for a major food manufacture in South-West England.

The project involved a site wide study of current operations followed by production of a recommendations report for LEV and materials handling upgrades.
