CASE STUDY 7

Jetty Upgrade

We delivered a full end-to-end engineering package for the installation of  new marine loading arm and large-bore fuel jetty pipework, alongside the design of a high-level maintenance access platform for key valves.


The project began with a 3D laser scan of the existing facility, enabling the creation of an accurate as-built model. This formed the basis for detailed pipework design, including routing, supports, and associated structural elements. Our 3D model allowed for efficient design reviews and stakeholder walkthroughs, ensuring the new installation integrated seamlessly with existing infrastructure.


Scope of Work:

  • 3D laser scanning of the existing facility
     
  • Development of as-built 3D model incorporating existing and new plant
     
  • Detailed 3D design of new large-bore pipework
     
  • Export of piping isometrics for fabrication
     
  • Design of pipe supports and production of piping GA drawings
     
  • 3D walkthrough sessions for client review and approval
     
  • Structural design and calculations for high-level valve maintenance platform
     
  • Production of platform general arrangement drawings
