Case STUDY 8

“Cut and Carve” Plant Modifications

We supported a global trading and marketing company with extensive “cut and carve” modifications to their existing plant. The project aimed to optimise storage capacity by converting and utilising existing tanks, while also delivering a new demineralised water plant and storage facility.

Our work included detailed modifications to existing pipework and plant, design of new piling and foundations, and the development of a new tanker loading and sampling facility. Additionally, we provided full structural and civil engineering design for the new demineralised water plant, ensuring safe, efficient, and regulatory-compliant integration with the existing site.

Scope of Work:

  • Detailed design of modifications to existing plant and pipework

  • Optimisation of storage through conversion of existing tanks

  • Design and engineering of new demineralised water plant and storage facility

  • Design of new piling and foundations

  • Development of new tanker loading and sampling facility
